Professionals in Journalism
NABJ-Milwaukee is a professional development organization that opens doors for students and professionals of color and for African American journalists and storytellers. We help the media reflect a multiracial community in their staffs and in their work.
About NABJ-Milwaukee
NABJ-Milwaukee is a nonprofit chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists serving Wisconsin. We create opportunities for education, leadership, and community connection while celebrating Black media professionals and developing talent that strengthens diverse voices in local and statewide media.

NABJ-Milwaukee Scholarships
NABJ-Milwaukee offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students, preferably in the Milwaukee area, who are actively exploring an interest in journalism or multimedia arts. These scholarships support emerging talent as they take important steps into the field and encourage them to pursue their passion for storytelling and communications with confidence and purpose.
